激光器泵浦源

Solid state laser pump sources are typically a laser diode or gas discharge lamp (flash lamp.) Flashlamps, together with the laser rod, are placed within the pump chamber. Ekspla manufactures flashlamp power supplies and pump chambers for pulsed lasers.

Flash lamp electrical energy is stored in a capacitor, then transmitted through a pulse forming network(PFN), to provide correct the necessary pump pulse. PFN parameters are precisely matched to the specific flashlamp and pulse duration requirements.

IPL

Intense pulsed light (IPL) is a technology used by cosmetic and medical practitioners to perform various skin treatments for aesthetic and therapeutic purposes, including hair removal, photorejuvenation (e.g. the treatment of skin pigmentation, sun damage, and thread veins) as well as to alleviate dermatologic diseases such as acne. IPL is increasingly used in ophthalmology as well, to treat evaporative dry eye disease due to meibomian gland dysfunction.

Sterilization of food and drink containers and food

Applying flashes of pulsed light to microorganisms causes their immediate, total and irreversible destruction. This destruction is based on two principles:

  • Denaturation of the macromolecules of the living organism (DNA, structural and metabolic proteins, enzymes) by the UV light;
  • Accentuation of this denaturation by the power effect of this UV light.

Pulsed light systems are used for a wide range of curing applications in markets as diverse as medical devices, optical discs, packaging, and food processing. Pulsed Light can be used virtually anywhere UV mercury light is used, with superior and safer results.

Controlled heating and cooling process used in many industries for treating materials such as metal and glass to alter its properties.
